Custom Jewelry Featuring Sea Glass

A part of the ancient past is now your very own. These pieces of history were harvested from the rocky Northeast England coastline; the final resting place of Ancient Sea Glass. These irreplaceable pieces are remnants of a glass making industry established by the Romans living in ancient England and carried on by local artisans into the 1800's. Their unique, one of a kind shapes result from decades of natural tumbling on the rocky floor of the North Sea. Little by little these rare gems are diminishing and one day they will be forever lost under mounds of rock and sand, leaving only the legends of what was known by the Romans as "MERMAIDS TEARS".

SG1 This unique oblong shaped piece of sea glass looks black but is actually amber colored. The pendant measures 2 1/2 inches x 1/2 inch. It comes with an 18" sterling silver chain.

SG2 This pendant is rare due to the unusual yellow sea glass. It is wrapped with gold filled wire and comes with a gold 18 inch twisted chain. The pendant measures 1 3/4 inches x 1 inch.
